Industry Partner Program
The Industry Partner Program is great value to sewing businesses and our members! We love to sew and we know a stash can never be too big, you can never have too many patterns, notions or tools and we all have a dream machine in our sights! We are aiming to make the Australian Sewing Guild one of the first places you go when you want to sew!
We love chatting about our Industry Partners! We have created these guidelines to make sure that you get the best exposure. Quality content and exciting images are important. We want share your business in a way that gets our audience excited!
We can post information about upcoming sales, events and news about your business on the ASG Facebook page. Email details of these items, complete with links to your social media to firstname.lastname@example.org
We offer two types of posts, 1) Informational, review style posts or 2) Guest Posts.
These posts will be written by an ASG member. The more information the writer has the better. We suggest providing all of the following as a minimum:
- Location(s) & opening hours
- Website address – please indicate if you also have an online store.
- Links to social media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram etc)
- Products or services offered
- Details of current or upcoming sales/events/classes/promotions.
Email content to email@example.com
If you have a technique, tutorial or a few tips to share with our readers, you may want to write a blog post yourself! If that’s the case, pitch your idea to our team by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Facebook Mentions – we generally expect Facebook mentions to be 50 to 100 words, but this is flexible.
Blog Posts – We generally expect blog posts to run 500-700 words but this is flexible. A tutorial may be lighter on words but heavier on pictures.
Please provide an image of your logo/name and high quality images to accompany a post. One or two logo images and 5-10 images is perfect. Images should be a minimum of 2000 pixels X 2000 pixels, in JPEG format. Bright, clear photos that look welcoming draw in readers and are more likely to be picked up on other social media, like Pinterest. We are happy for you to watermark your images but ask that they not obscure or intrude upon the image.
