Set in bushland, with panoramic views of the Scenic Rim, the Boonah Outlook Retreat provides modern and comfortable accommodation. If you are energetic there are walking tracks, hills and great views. It’s an ideal venue to enjoy a weekend of sewing and friendship in idyllic surrounds. Depending on final numbers it may be possible to have a private room. The workroom is large with tables, chairs and lounge chairs. There is a huge outdoor deck which is perfect for the all-important sharing of food.
Boonah boasts great shopping and Maynards in the main street has lovely fabrics as well as the most amazing stock of clothing, shoes & bags. Sometimes the Saturday markets are on.
Arrival time Friday, 18 October should be 10am BUT this is to be confirmed (subject to a group moving out before we move in) and stay till Sunday, 20 October afternoon (3 days and 2 nights)
ASG members $90; Non-members $120.
This includes towels, bed linen, accommodation and cleaning costs. The workroom is all set up with tables & chairs, comfy lounge chairs, extension leads, iron & board.
We can book a maximum of 13 so there's room for comfort. We are in Unit 2 this time.
It was decided at previous Retreats that we will individually self cater, so you need to bring all your own food. It would be great to bring some nibblies to share for morning and afternoon teas too. There is a fully functional kitchen.
