Genevieve has been sewing, knitting and creating since she was 5 years old. Creativity balanced her life as she undertook numberous University studies, from science to counselling.
She has held the position of coordinator for her local WA ASG group, and is currently the WA Region treasurer. Genevieve has won numberous prizes at regional, state and national competitions, including the AUSSEW National Convention sewing challenges.
She brings a passion for creative diversity, a love of dressmaking and extensive studies in creative adult learning to this exciting workshop.
Julie has been sewing since she was a teenager, and has made most things that can be made with fabric and thread. In recent years she has focused on taking textiles which have been discarded by others and turning them into new clothes. She was an enthusiastic entrant in the ASG's Castaway to Couture competitions and was lucky enough to win a prize each time. She has also run workshops for local Guild groups. Julie has competed successfully in local shows and is looking forward to entering more shows when she retires from paid employment.
